The C2PA Coalition is a standards development organization focused on combating misleading online content by developing technical standards for certifying the source and history (provenance) of digital media. Its founding members include Adobe, Arm, Intel, Microsoft, and Truepic.
Mission & Goals
- Develop Open Standards: Create and promote open technical standards, primarily the C2PA Content Credentials specification, for digital provenance.
- Increase Trust Online: Provide tools and frameworks to help creators, platforms, and consumers verify the authenticity and origin of digital content.
